Mechanical Engineering

Shrader’s mechanical design team is experienced in providing a variety of mechanical engineering solutions for meeting the needs of the markets we serve.

Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical process systems play a critical role in the safe, reliable and efficient operation of any facility – regardless of industry.

Shrader Engineering has a wide range of design experience for mechanical systems including: HVAC systems, chilled water systems, microprocessor based controls and building automation systems, humidity control and infrared heating, domestic water systems, storm and waste drainage systems, fire detection and suppression systems, compressed air and gas systems, water softening systems, fume and dust collection systems, fuel dispensing systems, and chemical storage and blending systems.

The firm also provides complete mechanical process design for municipal, industrial and petrochemical facilities – including process flow and piping, industrial ventilation, material handling, chemical containment and scrubbing, heat exchange, hydraulic modeling, and flow and head-loss calculation.

We also utilize Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling software for thermal modeling to analyze the effectiveness of cooling and ventilation systems within data centers, cleanrooms and laboratory systems.
