Shrader Engineering is seeking a motivated and talented communications engineer with data transport, IP-based video, physical networks, and mission-critical technology design experience.
This challenging and unique position involves working as part of a highly specialized electrical, mechanical, and information technology team focused on design and construction management of technology based systems and infrastructure.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include working closely with other engineers and designers in the development of data transport networks, backbone cabling systems, wide area networks, and IT infrastructure utilizing NFPA, NEC, TIA/EIA and BICSI methods and standards. Candidate will prepare technical plans and specifications for telecommunication projects (OSP cabling systems, wireless systems, video surveillance, physical networks, and mission-critical facilities). Candidate must be proficient in telecommunication network practices and concepts, physical network and backbone cabling architecture, TCP/IP and other various network protocols, and IT industry standards.
